Battle of the Bands

Cincinnati, Ohio

The South Gwinnett High School Competition Marching Band will travel to the Midwest Battle of Bands in Cincinnati, Ohio . The event will take place at the Withrow High School Stadium on October 16, 2010 at 6 p.m. The cost of this trip is $115 for the overnight stay. The Band will plan to leave very early Saturday morning and return Sunday evening.

Competition Band Members, please sign and return the bottom portion of this letter of intent by Friday, September 3^rd.

The South Gwinnett High School Band has continued to be a Band of Excellence since its existence in 1957. Students at South Gwinnett have the opportunity to participate in several ensembles including The Marching Band of Stars, The Jazz Ensemble, Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Pep Band, SGDL Drum Line and our auxiliary called Ladies of Silk.

We are proud to have Snellville Middle & Grace Snell Middle feed into the South Gwinnett Band Program. 

Students at South have instilled Sound, Style, and Sophistication through Musicianship and Leadership, which makes it second to none.
